Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2026 ESSKA-EKA Focus Meeting, which will take place on 11-12 September 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece. This is an open meeting for both ESSKA-EKA members and non-members, bringing together a truly international audience. Fast-track knee arthroplasty has transformed clinical practice, reshaping surgical protocols, accelerating patient recovery, and reducing complications and overall healthcare costs.

Although fast-track principles are gradually becoming part of routine practice for many surgeons, the reality is that patient care pathways continue to evolve, driven by advances in surgical technology, perioperative care, and digital health. This meeting will present the latest developments, offering practical strategies to optimise preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. Successful fast-track arthroplasty requires seamless teamwork. We encourage surgeons to attend together with their anaesthesiologists, physical therapists, and head nurses, ensuring that every link in the patient journey is optimised.

What to expect:
Debates on current challenges and strategies for maximising recovery without compromising safety
Interactive sessions with world-renowned experts
Practical takeaways for improving outcomes in your daily practice
An opportunity to submit your questions in advance for discussion
